MarineSeen has developed an algal images web site.  The images on this site supplement and compliment available keys and guides to marine algae and are intricately linked to the Natural History Museum Seaweeds of the British Isles series.  Any feedback would be most welcome.  Would you like to sponsor a seaweed?  Get in touch.  Click here to go to the site.

PLYMOUTH SOUND EUROPEAN MARINE SITE.   MarineSeen, in conjunction with CALM has undertaken a Phase 1 shore biotope mapping survey of the Plymouth Sound area and estuaries system for English Nature.

MarineSeen has been involved in a survey of caves around the coast of Wales with the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW).  

MarineSeen completed a project to collect images for WWF-UK`s Ocean Recovery Campaign (ORCA).

A video production for Filsol (Solar Energy) with animations and full sound track was released November 2001.This video:
Supplements SHINE 21 written training materials.
Shows domestic solar water heating installations.
Can be used to support short training courses.
Can be use to support plumbing NVQ courses at colleges.
Can be used by plumbers at home.

The SHINE 21 training initiative was devised and managed by Filsol Solar
Limited and performed in partnership with the Association of Plumbing and
Heating Contractors, Sustainable Energy Limited and Swansea Energy Agency.
The initiative has received funding support from the European Social Fund's
ADAPT programme and from the Department of Trade and Industry.
